Gaywood Primary School

Peer Mediators at Gaywood Primary are children who work around the school at play and lunchtime to help to sort out disputes and resolve conflict.  They aim to ensure that all playtimes are happy times for all.

To become a peer mediator, children have to apply via a written application explaining what attributes makes them appropriate for the role.  After a successful application, children take part in training which includes role playing scenarios and guidelines on how best to support the resolution process, supported by adults.
