Here is our pamphlet we made about why we should ban zoos. This blog is about how zoos are not treating animals the way they should be treating them. In class we have been doing persuasive writing and we created a pamphlet why we should ban zoos and release the caged animals to the wild.

As part of their French learning, the Y5s have established Cafe Bof, which is a french speaking cafe serving french food and recipes. The children had a great time making the food and being able to order their food in french. Well done, all!

This week is National Coding Week and 5S have been putting the skills they learnt at Springwood High School to good use by undertaking coding tasks. They have all done extremely well. Well done and keep it up!

Some of the Year 5 children visited Springwood this morning to have a go at computer coding with a free piece of software called Scratch. The children had a great time and enjoyed visiting the High School. You can find more information on Scratch and download it for free by clicking here.
