  In Year 5 we have been reading some of William Shakespeare’s plays. We have read Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth. The digger made easy work of the burial of time capsule. On the 12th of December 2014 we buried the time capsule in the school field. Year 5 have written some Autobiographies after studying Roald Dahl’s Boy and Michael Morpurgo’s Homecoming. Write them a message to tell them what you think they have done well and what they need to do next!

As part of their French learning, the Y5s have established Cafe Bof, which is a french speaking cafe serving french food and recipes. The children had a great time making the food and being able to order their food in french. Well done, all!

Some of the Year 5 children visited Springwood this morning to have a go at computer coding with a free piece of software called Scratch. The children had a great time and enjoyed visiting the High School. You can find more information on Scratch and download it for free by clicking here.
